Lori Angelia (Durham) Lee

Lori Angelia (Durham) Lee, age 61, passed away peaceful at her home on May 12th, 2021, from her battle with cancer surrounded by her loved ones.

A Celebration of Life will be held for Lori Lee on Saturday, May 15th at 5pm, on the beach at Radio Island in Beaufort NC.

Lori was born in Portsmouth, Virginia, to Baxter Durham Sr. and Addie Jessup on April 14th, 1960. Lori was a very kind and loving woman that never met a stranger. If you ever had the pleasure of meeting Lori, you always had a friend.

A few of Lori's passions were listening to 80’s music, watching The Walking Dead, Supernatural, and Ghost Adventures. She loved spending time with her family as well as having a passion for spending her free time fishing. As a young woman she loved going to concerts and spending time with her siblings.

Lori was employed at the Burlington Store #955 in Jacksonville NC where she met her "working family" that she adored.

Lori is survived by her "Pop" Thomas Jessup and mother, Addie Jessup of Newport, NC. She leaves her cherished children, Jett Durham (wife Amanda Durham) of Kansas, Dakota Miller (husband Dustin Deckard) of Kansas, Season Potter (husband Jacob Potter) of Missouri, Evan Lee of Fort Bragg NC and Madison Lee of Newport NC. Her siblings include Buddy Durham, Susie Piner, Tina Henderson, Sherrie Culpepper and Rebecca Grosskopf. Along with many nieces and nephews that she loved and cherished dearly.

She was preceded in death by father, Baxter Gwynn Durham Sr.
