Lori Ellen (Brown) Beacham

Lori Ellen Brown Beacham, 54 of Beaufort, NC, died peacefully on August 7th at Vidant Medical Center in Greenville, NC after a year-long battle with Pancreatic Cancer. She was surrounded by her family.

Lori was born in Kenansville, NC on September 20, 1961. From the very beginning Lori loved her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. She also loved quiet moments, art and music, dancing, sunshine and rain. Above all she loved her family. She was beautiful, brave and fierce, and full of faith throughout her time here on Earth.

Lori is survived by her mother, Sylvia Southerland Brown; two daughters, Sarah McCollum and husband David, and Jordan Augenstein and husband Augie; grandchildren, Jeremiah, Zoe and Hayden Augenstein; two sisters, Amy Salter and husband Paul and Jill Roberts and husband Herb; nieces, Katie and Natalie Salter and nephew, Austin Stone.

She was preceded in death by her beloved father, James Alton Brown, Jr. and her canine companion Happy. Today she dances with them in Heaven.

Family visitation will be on Friday, Aug 12th at 2:00 p.m. with Celebration of Life Service following at 3:00 p.m. at Munden Funeral Home, 2112 Arendell St in Morehead City, NC.
