Lonzo D. Herron Sr.

Lonzo D. Herron Sr., 78, of Beaufort, passed away Saturday, September 14­, 2019, at the Crystal Coast Hospice House.

His funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, September 17, 2019, at Munden Funeral Home, officiated by Rev. David Vesper. Interment will follow at Amariah Garner Cemetery in Newport.

He is survived by his sons, James David Herron and wife April of Wilmington, Lonzo Denver Herron Jr. and wife Tracey of Brentwood, TN; sisters, Wanda Carter and husband Billy of Akron, OH and Patricia St. Clair and husband Barry of Wolcottville, IN; brother, Carl “Buck” Corley Jr. of Akron; and grandchildren, Ashlyn Herron, Cameron Herron, Brittni Herron and Liam Herron.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Curtis and Pearl Herron; sisters, Joan Herron Sturgill, Darlene Herron Jarrell; and brothers, Dan Herron, Gerald Herron, Darrell Corley, Keith Bradly Herron.

Family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. on Tuesday, September 17, 2019, at Munden Funeral Home.
