Lisa Marie Pick

Lisa Marie Pick, 37, of Newport, passed away on Saturday, October 8, 2016, at Duke University Hospital.
A visitation will be held at Munden Funeral Home in Morehead City on Thursday, October 13, 2016, between 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm.
Lisa was born and raised in Utica, NY. She moved to Havelock, NC as a teen and graduated from Havelock High School class of 1997. She spent the most of her adult life in the restaurant industry and most recently as a waitress at the Kountry Kitchen. She was a very devoted daughter, sister, mother, fiancé, and friend that will dearly be missed.
She is survived by her sons, Austin and Kyle Mercer; parents, Wesley “Butch” Pick and Lois Pick; Fiancé, Jeff Mercer; sisters, Renné Pick of New Mexico, Michelle Jones and husband Trent of Florida, and Bernice Cadwell and husband Bruce of New York; one niece; and two nephews.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the owners, staff, and customers of the Kountry Kitchen for their support and love during Lisa’s struggle with cancer.
