Linda (Amick) Weeda

Linda Amick Weeda, 58, of Sea Level, passed away peacefully Monday, October 25, 2010, after a long illness.
A memorial service will be held 1:00 pm Thursday at Munden Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Joseph Franklin officiating.
She was born in Wake County, NC on February 15, 1952, the daughter of Daniel Amick of Mrytle Beach, SC, and the late Betty Thompson Amick. Mrs. Weeda graduated from Cheraw High School in 1970 and enlisted in the US Navy. She proudly served her country for fourteen years.
Besides her father, she is survived by her son, Blake Weeda of Durham, NC; step-daughter Jennifer Weeda of Memphis, TN; sister, Judy (Wayne) Parrish of Newport, NC; and brother, Danny Amick and wife Robin of Williamsburg, VA.
The family will recieve friends one hour prior to the service at Munden Funeral Home.
The family would like to extend a special “thank you” to sitter and friend Agatha Goodwin and also, to the staff at Snug Harbor.
