Linda Guthrie Sadowski

Linda Guthrie Sadowski, 76, of Beaufort, NC, passed away Friday, March 8, 2024, at Carteret Health Care.

A memorial service to honor Linda’s life will be held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, March 13^th at Munden Funeral Home, officiated by Rev. Jack Mumford. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

Linda was born on July 1, 1947, in Morehead City, NC to the late Dallas and Sena Guthrie. She found so much joy in watching The Golden Girls, sharing laughter and cherished moments with her loved ones. Linda had a nurturing spirit that extended beyond her role as a mother, as she dedicated herself to caring for her grandchildren, showering them with love and wisdom. 

She will be remembered for her kindness, strength, and devotion to her beloved family. Linda will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.

Those remaining to cherish her memory are her daughters, Shannon Kelley (Jody) of Davis, NC, Wendy Brittingham (Robby) of Beaufort, NC, Lori Guthrie (Farron) of Beaufort, NC; sister, Marie Laughlin (Carl) of Morehead City, NC; grandchildren, Christopher Sadowski (Shawna), Carson Fulcher (Matthew), Jillian Kelley, Grayson Block (Daisy), Marlee Brittingham, Alexis Lewis (Brandon); great-grandchild, Finn Sadowski; and her favorite dogs, Benji and Harley.

In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Sadowski; brother, Tommy Guthrie; and son-in-law, Jerry Kelley.
