Linda Jean Logue Mojica

Linda Jean Logue Mojica, 77, of Morehead City, North Carolina, passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 23, 2025, at the Crystal Coast Hospice House.

A funeral service to honor Linda’s life will be held at 11 a.m., Monday, January 27th at Munden Funeral Home, officiated by Pastor Terry Johnson. A graveside service will follow at Bayview Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m., Sunday, January 26th at Munden Funeral Home. For those unable to attend, the service can be viewed through her obituary page on Munden Funeral Home’s website. The service will remain on the Funeral Home website for 90 days.

Born on December 5, 1947, in Morehead City, NC, Linda was the daughter of the late John McNair Logue and Myrtle Gray (Fulcher) Logue. 

Linda was a career accountant. She was an animal lover who held a special affection for her cats over the years. She also loved to travel, especially cruising, and once her sons were grown, built lifelong travel memories with her niece and nephew. Her warmth and love for family and friends will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Linda is survived by her sons, Paul Christopher “Chris” Mojica of Arapahoe, NC, and Michael John Mojica of Morehead City, NC; granddaughter, Olivia Mojica of Holly Springs, NC; her sister and brother-in-law, Connie (Logue) Chisholm and Bill Chisholm of Newport, NC; nephew, William Chisholm of Garner, NC; niece, Brenna (Chisholm) Harris and her husband, Michael Harris, along with great-nephews, Logan and Owen Harris, all of Newport, NC. 

In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Pablo “Paul” Rodil Mojica.

Flowers may be sent to Munden Funeral Home; or in lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Linda’s honor to the Carteret County Humane Society or the Salvation Army of Carteret County.
