Linda Willis Mills, 65, of Beaufort, died Friday March 1, 2013, at Harborview Health Care Center.
The family will have a memorial service 6:00 pm Wednesday at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witness in Beaufort with Minister Mike Alden officiating.
Linda was a member of Kingdom Hall in Beaufort. She loved doing crafts, and art especially drawing and painting.
She is survived by her husband of 21 years Mayhew Mills of the home: five children Vickie Mercer and husband Jeff of Newport, Teresa Harper and husband Ken of Newport, Laura Lynch of Selma, Christina Collins of Havelock, and Curtis Allen Perry, Jr., of Beaufort: five grandchildren Kendall Harper, Chelsey Harper, Alfred Collins, III, Ayla Collins, and Rusty Mercer: four great grandchildren Gavin Harper, Kaslyn Harper, Kyler Harper, and Anthony Collins: three brothers Tommy Willis and wife Connie of New Bern, Larry Willis of Newport, and Robert Willis of Morehead City:and two sisters Doris Burden of Beaufort, and Norma Hammersma and husband Bill of Iowa.
She was preceded in death by her parents James and Laura Willis.
The family will receive friends following the service at Troon Way Community Center.
