Linda Anne (Pasemann) Lynch

August 22, 1941 — January 9, 2014

Linda Anne Lynch, 72, of Schenectady, passed away Thursday, January 9, 2014 after a long illness.

The family will be scheduling a memorial service for Linda at a later date in Schenectady, NY and a funeral mass at St. Madeline Sophie Roman Catholic Church, Guilderland, NY.

Linda was born 22 August, 1941 in Brooklyn, NY the daughter of Otto and Katherine Pasemann. She was raised on Long Island, graduated from Wellington C. Mepham High School in Bellmore, NY, and later in her life earned an Associate Degree in Interior Design from the Junior College of Albany, where one of her fabric collages was awarded Permanent Collection by Russell Sage/Junior College of Albany. Linda married Joseph Lynch on July 16, 1966 and gave birth to and raised three sons, Peter, Joseph, and Benjamin. Although an Interior Designer by profession, she was a dedicated wife, and mother, and found her passion working with children. Linda lived in many different parts of NY, as well as Virginia, North Carolina, Ecuador, and Canada, and eventually retired with her husband to the coast of North Carolina.

Surviving members of Linda's immediate family include; her loving husband Joe; son Peter of Albany, NY; and son Benjamin of Bellevue, WA along with spouse Andrea and son Joseph. In addition, Linda has a sister, Alice DeLuca, who with her husband John, live in Palm City, FL. Linda was predeceased by her parents, and son Joseph of Albany, NY. Her most memorable employment was working tirelessly and lovingly with brain injured children at a facility in Albany, NY.

Linda loved to travel and, in addition to visiting many parts of the United States, and living in Guayaquil, Ecuador and Calgary, Canada, she visited the Bahamas, Mexico, Belize, Kenya, and Tanzania.

Linda loved crafts, design, travel, gardening, and life in general. Children were her favorite people and she spent time working, not only with children in this country, but with children living at the Huruma Orphanage in Ngong Hills, Kenya. Linda never forgot her childhood.
