Linda Guthrie Lee, 72, of Newport, passed away June 6, 2016 at Croatan Ridge.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 Thursday, June 9, 2016 at Glad Tidings Church with Rev. Tim Marriner officiating. A private interment will follow at Oceanview Cemetery in Beaufort, NC.
Linda is survived by her daughters, Minerva Cannon and Sheli Nix, both of Morehead City, NC and Sara Guthrie of Newport, NC; sons, Eddie Guthrie and Donald Guthrie, both of Newport, NC; sisters, Margaret Walwrath of Newport, NC and Patricia Ipock of Bethel, NC; 14 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband David Lee who passed away in 2010; parents, Clifton Glover and Irene “Buttrey” Southern.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Glad Tidings Church on Thursday.
