Linda Ford-Riches

Linda Ford-Riches, 78, of Sea Level, passed away Monday, January 21, 2019, at Pruitt Health in Sea Level.

The family will be having a private Celebration of Life at a later date.

She is survived by her husband, David George Riches of Sea Level; daughters, Deborah “Debbie” Ford Marsh and husband Barclay of Mooresville and Elaine Carroll Ford of Morehead City; sons, Richard Lee Ford, Jr. and wife Anne of Durham and David Christopher Ford and wife Kate of Delmar, MD; grandchildren, Patrick Marsh and wife Jill, Jordan Marsh and wife Allison, Luke Ford, Kate Ford, Jack Ford, Mathias Ford, Maggie Ford and Claire Ford; great-grandchildren, John Marsh and Sarah Marsh; and many loving nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her first husband of almost 40 years and father of her children, Richard Lee Ford, Sr.; biological parents, Johnny Augustus High and Ina Mae Andrews High; her adoptive parents, Carey White Lowe and Annie Belle High; sisters, Margaret High Rose and Shirley High Mason; and brothers, Joseph Bernard High and Johnny High.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be sent to the Core Sound Waterfowl Museum and Heritage Center at 1785 Island Rd., Harkers Island, NC 28531.
