Linda Richardson Daniels, 70, of Newport, died Wednesday, February 26, 2014 at Harborview Health Care Center.
A celebration of life service will be held 3:00 pm Saturday at Munden Funeral Home with Rev. John LePere officiating.
Linda was an avid wolfpack fan, and enjoyed other sports. She had a passion for gardening, and was an animal lover. Her favorite holiday season was Christmas, with family and all the trimmings.
She is survived by her husband Lerry Daniels of Newport; step-daughter Stephanie Davis of Newport; sister Peggy Wall of Raleigh; and newphews Michael Earnhardt, and Timothy Earnhardt both of Raleigh.
Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
