Lina Mae (Buck) Willis

Lina Mae Willis, 89, of Morehead City, passed away Sunday, May 18, 2014 at Carteret General Hospital.
A graveside service will be held 10:00 am Wednesday at Bayview Cemetery with Rev. Tommy Thompson officiating.
Mrs. Willis was a charter member of the Carteret County USO and Daughters of the American Revolution. She was employed by Carolina Telephone as an operator, and then staff manager for Dr. Mike Brady and Dr. Cas Cader.
She is survived by her husband, R. G. "Buddy" Willis, Sr. of the home; son, Richard G. Willis, Jr. and wife Denise of Americus, GA;three grandchildren, Richard G. Willis, III of Newport, Sally Sheets of Louisville, KY, and Stephanie Ann Colbert of Ozark, AL niece, Melinda E. Ridgeway whom she raised and husband Gary of Morehead City and their son, Michael Ridgeway of Raleigh; eight great-grandchildren; and brother, Asa B. Buck, Jr. of Beaufort.
The family will receive friends 6:00 - 8:00 pm Tuesday at Munden Funeral Home.
