Lillian McCoy Renaud

Lillian McCoy Renaud, 89, of Morehead City, passed away Thursday, August 25, 2016 at home surrounded by family.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am Monday, August 29, 2016 at Munden Funeral Home Chapel in Morehead City with Rev. Tim Marriner and Rev. Jerry Linebarger officiating.

Lillian was employed with Big Star Grocery in Morehead City for 26 years.  An active member of Glad Tidings Church for over 30 years, she was a firm believer in her Lord and expressed her faith in the way she lived her life.

Lillian is survived by her daughters, Jo Ann Marsh and husband Carl of Morehead City, and Margaret Shepherd and husband David of Beaufort; son, Moe Renaud Jr. and wife Patsy of Newport; six grandchildren, Gary, Rose, Tracy, Susan, Theresa, and Tony; and eleven great grandchildren; brother, Cecil Beacham and wife Margie of Raleigh; sisters, Lotte Clark of Clayton, Pauline Lloyd of Newport, Frances Beacham of Newport, and Carol Mason and husband Worth of Beaufort; and her beloved poodle, Rico.

She was preceded in death by her first husband of 40 years, James McCoy, and second husband of 25 years, Maurice “Moe” Renaud Sr.; and her parents, Albin and Myrtle Dixon Beacham.

The family will welcome friends from 6:00 – 8:00 pm Sunday, August 28, 2016 at Munden Funeral Home in Morehead City.
