Mrs. Lillian "Lou" Frances Register

Mrs. Lillian "Lou" Frances Register, 98, formerly of Beaufort, NC, went to be with her Lord Jesus Christ on Sunday, November 24, 2024, at TerraBella Assisted Living in Greensboro.

A funeral service to honor Lillian’s life will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, December 6th at Ann Street United Methodist Church in Beaufort, officiated by Pastor Dena McFarland White. The family will receive friends one hour prior in the Church narthex. Following the service, Mrs. Register will be buried with her family in Oceanview Cemetery, Beaufort, NC. For those unable to attend, the funeral service can be viewed through her obituary page on Munden Funeral Home’s website. The service will remain on the Funeral Home website for 90 days.

Mrs. Register was born on February 6, 1926, to the late Ernest and Emily Waters. When Mrs. Register's family was young, she lived in Rocky Mount and Raleigh before returning to Beaufort. She spent two decades in Texas, then moved to TerraBella in Greensboro. She always referred to Beaufort as home. She enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles, and spending time with her family and her beloved cats.

Surviving are her three sons, David Register and wife Jean of Tomball, TX, Julius Register and wife Tomi of Greensboro, NC, and Frank Register of Round Rock, TX; three grandsons; and three great-granddaughters.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by husbands, Leonard F. Register and Otis B. Willis.
