Leta Pearl (Gillikin) Styron

Leta Pearl Gillikin Styron, 83, of Otway, passed away Monday, March 14, 2016 at Harborview Health Care Center.
Her funeral service will be held 2:00 pm Saturday, March 19, 2016 at Otway Christian Church with Rev. Jack Mumford officiating. Interment will follow at Gethsemane Memorial Park.
Mrs. Leta was a lifelong member of Otway Christian Church. She retired in 2001 from Carteret General Hospital with 15 years of service as a pediatric LPN.
She is survived by her daughter, Lisa Rhodes of Willow Springs; two sons, Michael Styron and wife Hope of Suffolk, VA, and Ben Styron and wife Eleanor of Hampstead; brother, Cecil Gillikin of Otway; six grandchildren, Eric Styron and wife Amber, Elizabeth Styron and husband Carl Daucher, David Styron and wife Keeley, Brittney Rhodes, Trish Newton, and Nicole Wells; and ten great-grandchildren, Grayson, Kamden, Jacob, Edmund, Lloyd, Charlotte, Sadie, Wesley, Spencer, and Madison.
She was preceded in death by husband, Earl Styron; grandson, Benny Styron; and her parents, Lionel and Robena Gillikin.
The family will receive friends 6:00 – 8:00 pm Friday at Munden Funeral Home in Morehead City.
