Lesley Yvonne Jones

Lesley Yvonne Jones, 42, of Morehead City, passed away Monday, April 12, 2021, at Carteret Health Care.

Lesley was born on November 7, 1978, in Nashville, Tennessee. Lesley loved the Lord and attended Parkview Baptist Church in Morehead City.

She had a tender heart for people and always went out of her way to help anyone in need. Lesley loved life to the fullest. She loved to talk to people and never met a stranger. Her ability to develop a connection with people was outstanding. She loved being a Scorpion and was true those traits of being resourceful, brave, passionate, and a true friend. Her free spirit and outgoing personality will be missed by those who were fortunate enough to call her a friend. She will be remembered as a loving fiancé and mother.

She is survived by her fiancé, Sean Nagy of Morehead City; son, Zackery Neely of Memphis, TN; maternal grandmother, Martha Elizabeth Rodgers "Nannie"; grandmother, Joyce Clevenger of Old Hickory, TN; sisters, Heather Lynn Brown of Nashville, TN and Amanda Elizabeth Jones of Dyersburg, TN; and brother, Donovan Fitzgerald of Riverview, FL.

Lesley was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Clevenger Long.
