Lesia Faith Moore Horner

Lesia Faith Moore Horner, 59, of Fayetteville, West Virgina, passed away after a short illness on June 26, 2021, in Morehead City, North Carolina.

A memorial service will be scheduled at a later date.

Lesia was born May 5, 1962, in Cheverly, Maryland to Billy and Janet Moore.  Lesia was a loving, caring and compassionate person who had an open mind and loving heart to all. She encouraged and deferred judgment of others. She trusted God, even when she was ill, and continued to testify of God’s goodness and love for her. Lesia will be missed by all those that knew and loved her.

Those left to cherish her memory are her mother, Janet Mosqueda and stepfather, Pete of Toledo, Ohio; son, Leonard Horner III of Gauley Bridge, WV; daughter, Ashley Riordan of Delaware; brother, Ray Moore (Tammy) of Oak Hill, WV; sisters, Allison Taylor of Beckwith, WV, and Heather Mosqueda of Toledo, Ohio; as well as several nieces and nephews, cousins and two special young women that were dear to her heart, Jesse Stark and Alliya Gunning.

She is preceded in death by her father, Billy (Bubby) Moore, stepmother Mary Ann Moore and brothers Wayne and Joey Moore.
