Lerry G. Daniels

Lerry G. Daniels, 86, of Morehead City, passed away Wednesday, November 21­, 2018, at Old Knox Commons Nursing Home in Huntersville, NC. Mr. Daniels was a Carteret County resident who was temporarily displaced due to the hurricane.

Mr. Daniels retired as Master Sergeant from the United States Army and he also served in the North Carolina National Guard. He enjoyed flying and was honored to be the pilot for Gov. James B. Hunt. Along with his love of flying, he also enjoyed fishing.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Carol Daniels.
