Leranda Kim Sisemore, 41, of Beaufort, passed away Thursday, June 9, 2016 at her home.
The family and church will conduct a memorial service at 10:00 am Saturday, June 25, 2016 at Refuge Fellowship Church with Rev. Merle Hunt.
Leranda was born in Sea Level and grew up in the Down East Community. She spent 11 years in Oklahoma where she worked as a teachers aid. She returned to Carteret County six years ago. She had suffered with many medical issues that ultimately caused her untimely death.
She is survived by two daughters, Shelby Desiree Lewis of Marshallberg and Molly Diana Sisemore of Beaufort; father, Randy Hamilton and step-mother Melodie of Harkers Island; mother, Pam Davis and fiancé Dennis of Marshallberg; daughter’s grandmother, Kathleen Hill; fiancé, Jerry “JJ” Jackson; brother, David Yeomans, Jr.; sister, Cayla Desiree Small; maternal grandmother, Cola Lou Thurlow; aunts, Velvet Kirk and Tammy Rhodes; uncles, Ralphie Hamilton, Lee Davis, Pat Thurlow, and Ronnie Thurlow; also a number of cousins.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Christopher Yeomans; and great grandmother, Cleo Willis.
