Leona Ellen Suber

Leona Ellen Suber, 75, of Beaufort, passed away Monday, November 19, 2018, at Carteret Health Care.

Her funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, November 23, 2018, at First Baptist Church of Beaufort, officiated by Pastor Ed Renfrow. Interment will follow at Carteret Memorial Gardens.

Leona was a faithful member of First Baptist Church of Beaufort where she enjoyed the fellowship of her church family. She was a dedicated employee of Carteret Health Care where she worked in the business office for 42 years. Although Leona had no children, she had a mother’s love for many.

She is survived by her mother, Louray Williams of Beaufort; sister, Mary Alice Salter and husband, Terry, of State Road; brothers, Harold R. Suber of Greenville and Paul A. Suber and wife, Ann, of Cary; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, Harold Suber.

Family will receive friends from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, November 23, 2018, at First Baptist Church of Beaufort.
