Leo Howell Salter

LEO HOWELL SALTER passed from this life January 2, 2013 at Taylor's Extended Care Facility, Sea Level.
A memorial service will be held 3:00 Sunday at Munden Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jimmy Mercer officiating.
He was retired from Naval Air Rework Facility, Cherry Point and had previously taught business education courses and was FBLA advisor at Smyrna High School in the early 1960s. He was a graduate of East Carolina College (now University).
Leo was preceeded in death by his parents Dallas H. Salter and Evelyn Murphy Salter. He is survived by several cousins Joann Salter, Beaufort; Bryan Salter and wife Janet, Sea Level; George Dewey Gaskill, Morehead City; Bruce Babbitt, Davis; Lloyd T. Salter, Greenville and Step-mother Audrey D. Salter, Davis.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the East Carolina University Foundation/ In memory of Leo Salter East Fifth Str. Greenville, NC 27858.
