Charlie Boucher, 56, of Morehead City, North Carolina, passed away at his home on Tuesday, September 10, 2024.
A memorial service to honor Charlie’s life will be held at 11 a.m., Monday, September 16th at Munden Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
The family invites friends and loved ones to join them for a reception following the memorial service. This gathering will be held at 1 p.m. at Finz Grill on Front Street in Beaufort. Your presence is welcomed as a celebration of a remarkable life.
Charlie was born on October 9, 1967, in New Bern, North Carolina. In his youth, Charlie excelled in various sports, showcasing his athletic abilities at numerous sports camps alongside well-known major league players. His passion for sports remained a lifelong interest, and he was a devoted fan of the Dallas Cowboys and the University of North Carolina Tarheels.
Throughout his career in the construction field, Charlie served as a respected supervisor, renowned for his exceptional skills and strong work ethic. Charlie took great pride in his role as a provider for his family, a commitment he upheld with dedication.
A true people person, Charlie cultivated numerous friendships and was known for his outgoing nature and dependability. His word was his bond; if he made a promise, others could rely on him to deliver.
Given any opportunity to be outdoors, he’d take it. Charlie’s love for the great outdoors was a significant part of who he was. He found joy in fishing, boating, and anything involving being outside.
Charlie will be remembered as a wonderful husband, loving father, and proud grandfather. His legacy of kindness, dedication, and love will live on in the hearts of those who knew him.
Those remaining to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Lena Boucher; daughter, Isabel Boucher of Morehead City, NC; sons, Leo Boucher of Jacksonville, FL, and Hudson Boucher of Morehead City, NC; parents, Leo Charles Boucher Jr. and Linda Boucher of New Bern, NC; and granddaughter, Lilly Mae Boucher of Grassy Creek, NC.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Charlie’s name to a charity of one's choice.
