Lee Roy Gould, 91, of Newport, died Friday, January 9, 2015 at Cherry Point Bay Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
A memorial service will be held 2:00 pm Sunday, January 11, 2015 at Newport Baptist Church with Rev. Gary Carroll officiating.
Mr. Gould is survived by two daughters Frances Brown of Myrtle Beach, SC and Jeanette Miller of Laurinburg, NC; two sons Doug Gould of Dover, DE, and Gerry Gould of Havelock, NC; seven grandchildren; eight great grandchildren: and a sister Marie Owens of Tennessee.
He is preceded in death by his wife Ruth Gould, parents James and Janie Gould, sisters Reba Stroud, Georgie Shepherd Mills, Rita Williams, and Beulah Linier, brothers Charlie Gould, Monk Gould, JB Gould and Mike Gould.
Visitation will follow the services.
