Leah Louise (Willis) Boggs

Leah Louise Willis Wray Boggs, 77, of Newport, fell asleep in death, Saturday, March 4, 2017 at Carteret Health Care, Morehead City. Her two loving daughters, Angie and Sandy, were by her side.

Her family will celebrate her life privately.

Leah Louise was a loving daughter, wife, and mother. She loved cats, dogs, flowers, cooking, and was excellent at any craft she put her hands to. She was a devoted caregiver for many years and retired from the Carteret County Health Department.

She is survived by her loving husband, R.L. David Boggs of Morehead City; two daughters, Angela Wray Eubanks and husband Ronnie of Henderson, NC and Sandra Wray Salter and husband Tom of Bettie; two grandchildren, Aaron Gray Eubanks of Roxboro, NC, and Emily Eubanks Ball and husband Damien of Oxford, NC; and one great-granddaughter, Olivia Quinn Ball age 3.

Leah Louise was preceded in death by her parents, Bennie Rich Willis and Carrie Wooten Willis; her first husband and father of her children, John Wayne Wray.
