Laurie F. Willis, 75, of Williston, died Saturday, December 5, 2009, at Carteret General Hospital.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm Tuesday at Williston United Methodist Church with the Rev. Doug Stewart officiating. Interment will follow at Williston Community Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Willis of the home; son, Darrell Willis and wife Jackie of Harkers Island; daughter, Candace Christian and husband Marty of Williston; two stepsons, Robert Kleimann and Jerry Cedatol both of Williston; three stepdaughters, Sherry Morris and Tammy Kleimann both of Morgan City, LA and Karen Motet of Bayou Lovis, LA; sister, Thelma Willis of Williston; 11 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Carman Kennedy, two stepdaughters, and his parents, Fulford and Vivian Willis.
The family will receive friends 6:00 - 8:00 pm Monday at the church.
