Laurence D. DeFerrari

Laurence D. DeFerrari, 82, of Morehead City, passed away Saturday, March 2, 2019, at Carolina East Medical Center.

His graveside service, with military honors, will be held at 12 p.m. on Monday, March 11, 2019, at Coastal Carolina Veteran Cemetery in Jacksonville.

Mr. DeFerrari proudly served our country in the United States Marine Corps. After retiring from the military, he worked with United States Postal Service where he also retired from.  He was a faithful Christian and a member at Annunciation Catholic Church.

He is survived by his daughters, Susan Childress of Havelock, Laura Vick of New Bern and Kathryn Krohn and husband Patrick of New Bern; and son, Daniel L. DeFerrari of Havelock; 3 grandchildren; and 1 great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Darlene DeFerrari; and parents, Laurence and Kathryn DeFerrari.
