Lauren Kristan Scanlon, of Pine Knoll Shores, passed away Friday, June 26, 2015, at Crystal Coast Hospice House.
A funeral mass will be held 11:00 am Wednesday, July 1, 2015, at St. Egbert Catholic Church with FatherThomas Davis officiating.
She is survived by her husband James Scanlon of the home; son, Blake K. Scanlon and wife Ellen Ault Scanlon of San Francisco; grandson, William Lucas Scanlon; sister Geri McCormack and husband Drew and goddaughtrer Kathryn McCormack.
She is preceded in death by her infant son Evan Scanlon and her parents William Kristan and Kathryn Shepsky Kristan.
The family will receive friends 6:00-8:00 pm,Tuesday, June 30, at Munden Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions to Martha's Mission Cupboard, Raab Oncology Clinic of Carteret General Hospital, or Crystal Coast Hospice House.
