Larry Newman Miller, 64, of Emerald Isle, died Monday, August 16, 2010, at Carteret General Hospital.
Services will be private.
Mr. Miller was a West Virginia Wesleyan College graduate, where he played college basketball. He was employed with Flip Flops in Emerald Isle for eight years and was an avid fisherman.
He is survived by his daughter Amanda V. Miller of Hermitage, PA; son Forrest Newman Miller of Mohnpon, PA; and brother Bennett Miller of Chocowinity, NC.
