Larry Gene Coats, 75, of Havelock passed away Friday, October 30, 2015 at Cherry Point Bay Nursing Center.
A memorial service will be held 6:00 pm Friday, November 6, 2015 at Munden Funeral Home Chapel with Bishop Lynn Bergener officiating.
He is survived by his five daughters, Jeanette Ford of Havelock, Juanita Sawyer and husband John of Michigan, Joyce Stowe and husband Gary of Washington, Janice Garcia and husband Herman of New Bern, Joann Manley and husband Jack of Newport, and one step daughter, Sabrina Blackstone of Arkansas; two sons, John Kiewiet and wife Giti of Florida and Jeff Kiewiet and wife Lori of Florida; twenty three grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Norma V. Coats; one daughter, Jonnie Burns; and one son, Ronnie Hudson and on great great-grandson Justin Wilson and parents David and Louella Coats.
