Larry Byrd

Larry Byrd, 60, of Newport, passed away Friday, January 25­, 2019, at his home.

A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, January 28, 2019, at Gethsemane Memorial Park, officiated by Rev. Robbie Strickland.

Larry’s passion was riding on and working on vintage Harley Davidsons. He was a loving and caring son who will be forever missed.

He is survived by his mother, Mary Ann McLean of Newport; daughter, Stephanie Lynn Rogers; brother, Gary McLean; and many loving nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Al McLean; and brothers, Curtis Byrd and David McLean.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be sent to the American Cancer Society at 930-B Wellness Dr., Greenville, NC 27834.
