Kyla Kay Holt, 23, of Lafayette, LA (formerly of Jacksonville, NC), passed away Sunday, April 10, 2016.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am, Monday, April 18, 2016 at Munden Funeral Home Chapel, Morehead City.
Kayla was a graduate of Southwest High School in Jacksonville, NC. She loved the beauty and sweet smell of the Gardenia flower, which appropriately means “you are lovely”.
Kyla is survived by her father, George Holt and his wife Laura, of New Bern, NC; her mother, Karen Willis and her husband Edmond, of Newport, NC; brother, George Holt II of Newport, NC; sister Kaitlynn Holt of Havelock, NC; step-sisters, Chole Willis, Taryn O’Leary and Michelle Zeas; maternal Grandparents, Linda Novony of Valparalso, IN and Randy Clark of Mt. Rose, MI; and paternal Grandparent, Doug Holt of Forest City, NC.
The family will receive friends 6:00 – 8:00 Sunday, April 17, 2016 at Munden Funeral Home in Morehead City.
Flowers are welcome, and the family requests Kylas favorite flowers, Gardenias.
