Krista S. Caswell, 45, of Swansboro, passed away Monday, June 26, 2017 at her home.
Krista was born in Michigan and lived there until age 12 when the family moved to Alaska, where she graduated from Diamond High Class of 1990. She lived in both Alaska and North Carolina and finally settled in Carteret County in December of 2012 where she worked in home medical care. Krista was artistic and loved creating things with her hands. She loved animals and all the people she met. She was loving and caring to all.
Krista is survived by her father, Joe Caswell of Newberry, Michigan; mother, Connie Campbell of Newport; fiancé, Dennis O’Brien of Swansboro; sons, John Michael Simmons of Newport, Zachary Daniel Simmons of Havelock; daughters, Casandra Lee Goshorn of Alaska, Ashlyn Marlene Tracy of New Bern; brother, James Campbell and wife Kimberly of South Dakota; sister, Autumn Campbell of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina; and loving aunts and uncles, Sandy Seymour, Ann Gould, Joe Smith, Frank Smith; her children’s paternal grandparents, John and Diane Simmons; and many friends.
