Kimberly "Kimmey Sue" Auman Larsen

Kimberly Auman Larsen “Kimmey Sue”, 53, of New Bern, passed away Monday, October 22­, 2018, at Carolina East Medical Center.

Her memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, October 27, 2018, at Faith Evangelical Church in Newport, officiated by Rev. Steven White.

Kimmey Sue loved baking and was known for her published baking recipes. She was active and enjoyed taking Tai Chi. She graduated from Mt. Calvary Christian School and was a member of Faith Evangelical Church. Among her other interests, she was a life-long member of the NRA and had her real estate license. Kimmy Sue was a wonderful wife and mother to all.

She is survived by her husband, James Anthony Larsen of the home; sister, Sherry Thompson and husband, Mark, of Charlotte; brother, Keith Hunt of Thomasville; niece, Christine Hudson; great-niece, Emma Graham; great-nephew, James Graham; special cousin, Lyn Threadgill and husband Danny; cousins, Randy Troxell, Cassie Campbell; cousin-in-law, Dale and Donna Swiggett; special friends, John and Lori Brault, Molly and Johnny Cosby, Pee Wee and Wanda Toler, Mr. and Mrs. Steven White and the SPX Flow Family; several aunts, uncles, cousins; and the family dog, Buddy Dog.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Clarence and Edith Kelly; brother, Ray Hunt; nephew, Tommy Jim Hudson, Branch Hudson; sister-in-law, Beverly Larsen Hudson; brother-in-law, Tom Hudson; father-in-law, James C. Larsen, Jr.; mother-in-law, Evelyn S. Larsen; and cousins, Timmy Troxell and Jason Campbell.

Family will receive friends from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, October 27, 2018, at Faith Evangelical Church in Newport.
