Kimberly “Kim” Raye Willis, 46, of Otway, passed away Friday, January 15, 2016 at her home surrounded by her family after a long courageous battle.
A funeral service will be held 2:00 pm Monday, January 18, 2016 at Munden Funeral Home with Jack Mumford officiating.
Kim was born and raised in Down East Carteret County she graduated from East Carteret High School in 1988 and received an Associates Business Degree. She was known for being outgoing and loved to have fun. In her spare time she enjoyed music and cooking. Hard working and lived for her family and others.
She is survived by her two daughters, Eden Gabrielle Burgess and Courtney Blaire Willis; one son, Michael Gavin Burgess all of Otway; parents, Cecil H. and Connie R. Gillikin; four siblings, Steve Gillikin and wife Sherri of Clayton, Cecilia Rose, Deb Gillikin, and Cecil K. Gillikin of Otway; and her beloved pets, Abbie and Daisy Mae
In lieu of flower memorial donations may be made to Community Home Care & Hospice, 3328 D Bridges St. Morehead City, NC 28557.
The family will receive friends 6:00- 8:00 pm Sunday, January 17, 2016 at Munden Funeral Home.
