Kim Fay Garner, 51, of Newport, died Monday March 26, at Vidant Medical Center.
A memorial service will be held 2:00 pm Friday March 30, at Munden Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Manly Rose officiating.
Kim moved to Carteret County in 1986 and had been employed with the Old Charter Restaurant in Morehead City, and the Jolly Knave on Atlantic Beach. Kim had owned and managed several businesses in Carteret County including " Kim's" and " Someplace Else" bar and grill and was most recently employed with Olive Garden.
She is survived by her husband Odell Garner of the home: father in-law Jerry Garner of Broad Creek, brother in-law Jerry Garner Jr., of Broad Creek, sister in-law Joanne Garner of Broad Creek: two sisters Debbie Sweeney of North Redington Beach,FL, and Tracy Sarti of Largo, FL.: numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
Flowers are welcome or memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society 930-B Wellness Dr. Greenville, NC 27834.
