Kevin Wilson May, 53, of Newport, passed away on August 8, 2021, at his home.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 11, 2021 at 10am and a visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 11, 2021 from 9am to 10am at Munden Funeral Home.

Family was very important to Kevin, he was a loving father to his two children and dearly loved his wife, Melinda. He had a green thumb, loved gardening and took great joy in watering his flowers and watching them grow. He enjoyed watching NASCAR and fishing when he had free time.

He is survived by his loving wife Melinda May; parents, J.W. and Glenda May; daughter, Meredith; son, Matthew and wife Danielle May of Burlington; sister, Tina Lloyd of Morehead City; nieces, Lauren Lloyd and Jessica Stellfox and his beloved furry companions; Butter and Rusty.
