Kevin Isakson, 54, of Pine Knoll Shores, NC, died Saturday, June 30, 2012 at Carolina East Medical Center.
Funeral Services will be held 12:00 noon Saturday, July 7th at First United Methodist Church in Morehead City, NC with the Rev. Mike Frese officiating. Interment will be at a later date at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Newnan, GA.
Kevin joined the US Air Force Oct. 1977 and retired after 29 years of service June, 30, 2006.
He is survived by his wife, Jodi Isakson; three daughters, Rena Manders and husband Shane of Franklin, GA, Leah Isakson and fiance Shawn of Newnan, GA and Kerri Spisak and husband Dana of Mobile, AL; son, Joseph Isakson and wife Angie of LaGrange, GA; three grandchildren, Tori Manders of Franklin, GA, Trey Isakson and McKenzie Crawford both of LaGrange, GA; brother, Kenneth Isakson and wife Annette of Roxbury, NJ; niece, Taylor Anne Isakson; and nephew, Blake Isakson.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Joan Isakson.
The family will receive friends 6:00 - 8:00 pm Friday at Munden Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Crystal Coast Hospice House, c/o First United Methodist Church, 900 Arendell St, Morehead City, NC 28557.
