Kenneth W. Cundiff, 70, of Morehead City, passed away on Tuesday, December 28, 2021.

Kenneth was born in Virginia Beach, Virginia, on November 24, 1951, to Frank and Jean Cundiff. He grew up in Roanoke where he worked as a contractor, starting Cundiff Tile and various other businesses revolving around design and building. His craftsmanship ability was incredible, there wasn’t anything he wouldn’t tackle, and he conquered his projects with ease and perfection.

Always one to appreciate the great outdoors, he loved spending time at Smith Mountain Lake as well as in Botetourt County, Virginia where he had a hunting camp. He also had a passion for studying and investing in the stock market and had an eye for the best deal.

Kenneth was a history enthusiast, he thrived on learning and sharing his history knowledge and always enjoyed finding authentic historical relics. Kenneth valued his friends and family and was happiest when he was surrounded by his loved ones.

He is survived by his loving wife, Bonnie Cundiff; daughters, Carrie Ann Cundiff of Roanoke, VA, Alexis Nicole Cundiff of Newport, NC and Kristen Blair Cundiff of Morehead City, NC; mother, Jean Cundiff of Virginia Beach, VA; sister, “Sissy” Daniels of Elizabeth City, NC; brothers, Timothy Cundiff (Suzanne) of Stevensville, VA and Jeffery Cundiff of Chesapeake, VA; grandson, Zachary Tyler Cundiff of Roanoke, VA; great grandchildren, Carsen Amery Cundiff and Liam Michael Cundiff, both of Roanoke, VA; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Kenneth was preceded in death by his father, Frank Cundiff.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis TN 38105.
