Kathryn Williams Sexton

Kathryn Williams Sexton, 69, of Morehead City, passed away Friday, April 19­, 2019, at Vidant Medical Center in Greenville.

Her memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. on Saturday, May 4, 2019, at Munden Funeral Home, officiated by Pastor Rob Pate. Interment will follow at a later date in Plymouth, NC at the family plot.

Kathryn was a graduate of the North Carolina School for the Deaf. She worked for 17 years at the Plymouth Garment Factory. She was a talented artist that excelled in drawing. Kathryn was a loving mother and grandmother.

She is survived by her daughter, Tina Sexton Bell and significant other Anthony Ligas of Newport; sisters, Sue Freeman of Newport and Connie Williams Brown and husband Keaven of New Bern; grandchildren, Kathryn Elizabeth Settle, Donald Paul Settle, Jr., Rachel Anne Settle; great-grandchild, Zebulon Otto Werts; loving niece, Wendy Freeman May; great nephew, Ryan May; and loving cat, Sari.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Reba Williams.

Family will receive friends from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, May 4, 2019, at Munden Funeral Home.
