Kathryn Wells Fisher

Kathryn Wells Fisher, 73, of Swansboro, North Carolina, passed away on Tuesday, March 19, 2024, at her home.

Her memorial service will be held at 2 p.m., on Sunday, March 24th, at Munden Funeral Home in Morehead City, officiated by Pastor Wesley Holmes.

Kathryn was born on March 11, 1951, in Sanford, North Carolina, to the late Ernest and Elizabeth Wells. Passionate about teaching, Kathryn shared her wealth of knowledge with her students, stimulating them to expand their minds and inspiring them to higher levels. Her teaching career spanned numerous schools between Charlotte and Onslow County.

If you knew Kathryn, you knew she adored her little fur babies and was always happy to have one by her side. The best little companions, they were always devoted and ready for her attention.

She is survived by her husband, Dr. Earl Fisher Jr.; son, David Bradley and wife Mary of Wilson, NC; stepsons, Earl Fisher III and wife Kim of Chapel Hill, NC and Arren Fisher of Durham, NC; and granddaughter, Laura Bradley Harold of Wilson, NC.
