Kathleen Oglesby, 79, of Morehead City, died Sunday, November 22, 2009, at her home.
Mrs. Oglesby attended Glad Tidings Pentecostal Holiness Church.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 am Wednesday at Glad Tidings Pentecostal Holiness Church with the Rev. Tim Mariner officiating. Interment will follow at Bayview Cemetery.
She is survived by two daughters, Kay Case of Morehead City and Phyllis Key and husband Pat of Newport; son, Richard Lawrence of Morehead City; two sisters, Eunice Brewer and Beadie Golden and husband Richard all of Newport; two brothers, Cecil "Sprookey " Ballou and wife Georgia and D.A. Ballou, Jr. and wife Esther all of Morehead City; three grandchildren, Jan Sanders and husband Eddie, Wendy Buck and husband John, and Glenn Barselow and wife Renee; six great grandchildren, Bryan Sanders, Hunter Sanders, Kayeleigh Hardy, Casen Hardy, Hatteras Buck, and Maggie Barselow; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Darious and Katie Ballou, and two brothers, John Ballou and his wife Virginia, and Tootle Ballou.
The family will receive friends 6:00 - 8:00 pm Tuesday at Munden Funeral Home.
