Kathleen Brown

Kathleen Brown, 71, of Morehead City, passed away on Saturday, April 10, 2021, at Carteret Health Care.

Kathleen was born on February 10, 1950, in Chicago, Illinois, to the late Julius and Martha Eubanks. Kathleen worked in the secretarial field for several different newspapers most of her life. In her free time, she loved to cook for her family, spent hours reading, and could create beautiful needlepoint and cross stitch pieces. She and her beloved husband, Preston Brown, were blessed with 48 years of marriage and she will be cherished by her family as a loving wife, mother and grandmother.

She is survived by her husband, Preston Brown; son, Myles Brown and wife Beth of Huntington, WV; grandsons, Steven Brown and wife Ashley, and Daniel Brown; and loving cat, Grayson.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Steve Eubanks.
