Katherine Russell Masotti, 93, of Beaufort, died Tuesday November 15, at Carteret General Hospital.
A graveside service will be held 3:00pm Monday, at Gethsemane Memorial Gardens with the Rev.Bill Pollock officiating. A memorial service will also be held 12:15pm Sunday November 27, at Live Oak Christian Church.
She was a member of Live Oak Grove Christian Church and was employed with the Carteret News Times till the age of 90.
She is survived by a daughter Carolyn Masotti O'neal of Beaufort, two sons Flynn Goldston of Beaufort and Eddie Masotti of Laurel,MD: a brother Lon Russell of Beaufort:seven grandchildren Jimmy O'neal, Katherine O'neal, Domnick O'neal, and William Goldston all of Beaufort, Craig Masotti, Julie Masotti, and Tommy Masotti all of Laurel, MD: six great grandchildren Tyler Courtney, Taylor O'neal, Riley O'neal, James Domnick O'neal Jr., Joseph Goldston, and Chelsey Goldston; many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband Ermano Masotti, five sibilings, and grandchildren Kimberly Dawn O'neal, Flynn goldston III, and Robert Goldston.
The family will receive friends following both services.
