Justin Shawn Cooper, 26, of Newport, died Wednesday, August 6, 2014 at home with family.
A funeral service will be held 11:00 Saturday at Munden Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Manley B. Rose, Jr. officiating. Interment will follow at Gethsemane.
He is survived by his mother Vida "Peanut" Colarusso of Newport: father Clifton "Cliff" Cooper of Newport; brother Christopher Furr of Newport; sister Candice Furr of Hamlet, NC; maternal grandparents Annie and Durwood Davis of Jacksonville; and Frances and Cliff Nance of Newport.
He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Klein and Nancy Cooper "Nana and Papa".
Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
