Julia Ann Pittman Stabley, 70, of Beaufort, went home to be with the Lord Thursday, February 6, 2014 at Vidant Beaufort Hospital.
A celebration of life will be held 2:00 pm Tuesday at Beaufort First Freewill Baptist Church with Rev. Richard Patterson officiating. Interment will follow at Carteret Memorial Gardens.
Ms. Julia was a member of Beaufort First Freewill Baptist Church.
She is survived by a daughter Donna Day and husband Robert of Newport; three sons Joseph Lee Stabley, Jr., and wife Kieta of Newport, Carl Bryan Stabley and wife Tracee of Landisburg, PA and Rev. Allen Lee Stabley and wife Sherry Elaine of New Bern; two brothers Bertie Edwin Pittman and wife Marian of Provo, UT, and Wayne Lewis and wife Martha of Reelsboro, NC; one brother in-law Paul Jennigs of Newport; six grandchildren Brook Nycole Stabley, Ashley Michelle Stabley, Helen Elizabeth Ellison, Rhianna Nicole Day, Alexandria Nicole Stabley, and Ruth-Anne Marie Stabley; four step grandchildren Buddy Hunter, Seth Hunter, Kiera Allen, and Steffany Hass: three great grandchildren Austin Michael Dixon, Liam Cole Joseph Hunter, and Hayden Faith Hunter; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband Joseph Lee Stabley, Sr., parents Norvey and Annie Pittman, sister Nora Jennings, and brother Nelson Pittman.
Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 Monday at Munden Funeral Home.
