Julia Leigh Mitchell Page, 56, of Cedar Point, passed away Thursday, April 5­, 2018 at Vidant Medical Center.

Her funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, April 9, 2018 at Glad Tidings Church in Morehead City, officiated by Reverend DeWayne Dickerson and Reverend Russ New. Interment will follow at Gethsemane Memorial Park.

Julia’s love for the Lord was first and foremost in her life, followed by a strong love for her family and friends.

Julia graduated from Fairmont State College in Fairmont, WV with a Teaching Degree. She was a school teacher at White Oak Elementary School where she was awarded the honor of Teacher of the Year two times. She loved all the students at White Oak Elementary School and will be missed greatly by those she taught and mentored through the years.

She is survived by her husband, Kevin Page, of the home; daughters, Jessica Leigh Williams and husband, Tony, of Killeen, TX, Bailey Alexandra Page and Mary Claire Page, both of the home; grandson, Cooper Allen Williams of Killeen, TX; parents, Richard “Dick” and Mary Lou Mitchell of Clarksburg, WV; sisters, Annie Janicki and husband, John, of Fairmont, WV, Susie Krug and husband, Chris, of Wildwood, MO, Lora Secret of Clarksburg, WV and Jayne Mitchell of Clarksburg, WV; brothers, Richard Mitchell, II of Charleston, WV and Daniel Mitchell and wife, Donna, of Bridgeport, WV; father-in-law, William Archie Page and wife, Polly, of Ocean; sister-in-law, Debbie Willis of Cedar Point; brother-in-law, Kirk Page and wife, Nanette, of Cedar Point; and sister-in-law, Christine Barnum and husband, Louie, of Ocean.

She was preceded in death by her son, Kevin Mitchell Page and mother-in-law, Bernice Page.

Family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Sunday, April 8, 2018 at White Oak Church of God in Bogue.
