Joyce "Faye" (Cox) Collins

Joyce "Faye" Collins, 68, of Newport, died Saturday, February 2, 2013 at her home.
A Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 am Wednesday at Munden Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Patrick Williams officiating. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 pm Wednesday at Cox & Collins Family Cemetery in Pink Hill.
Mrs. Faye worked at Cox's Family Restaurant. She was a collector of Barbies and Baseball Cards, she enjoyed life and giving of herself, she loved caring for and spending time with her family especially her children and grandchildren, and she enjoyed traveling.
She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Dan Collins; six sons, Robert Collins of Morehead City, Stephen Collins of Defiance, OH, Michael Collins of Morehead City, Dennis Collins and wife Brenda of Phoenix, AZ, Brian Collins and wife Charissa of DeBary, FL, and James Collins of Charlotte; eight grandchildren, Robert Collins, Stephen Collins, John Collins, Carl Collins, Tommy Collins, Tristian Collins, Hailee Collins, and Laney Collins; and two brothers, Ray Cox and wife Gail of Morehead City and Ronnie Cox of Pink Hill.
The family will receive friends 6:00 - 8:00 pm Tuesday at Munden Funeral Home.
