Joyce A. (Nordan) Adams

Sunday morning Joyce Nordan Adams ascended into heaven. She was beautiful, charming, and most of all loving. She loved her family and her friends beyond conception. She was generous to all.
She split her time between Morehead City, NC and Port St. Lucie, Fla.
She was the daughter of Clarence and Irene Nordan. Both now deceased. She was the sister of Wilma Byrd (Carroll) of Dunn and Judy Brown of Wilmington (Bobby).
Joyce’s life centered around her daughters, Lynn Adams Daves (Bob) and Denise Adams Swain (Frank) and her grandson Gray. She loved her sons -in law -as sons.
Joyce retired from the NC Department of Corrections in 2000. She was an accountant and a certified auditor.
She is survived by her daughters and their husbands, her grandson, and hundreds of friends.
She will be remembered at 2:00 Tuesday at The First United Methodist Church, 900 Arendell Street, Morehead City. Memorials can be made to the Raab Clinic Building Fund, 302 Medical Park, Morehead City, NC 28557.
