Joseph "Joe" Ray Hawkins

Joseph "Joe" Ray Hawkins, 67, of Morehead City, died Wednesday, March 26, 2014 at Crystal Coast Hospice House.
A graveside service will be held 2:00 pm Sunday at McCoy Family Cemetery in Cove City.
Joseph was the owner and operator of Joe Hawkins Electric. He loved wood carving and fishing.
He is survived by his wife Carolyn Hawkins of the home; daughter Robyn Kirschner and husband Clay of New Bern; a son Adam Hawkins of Morehead City; two grandchildren Abigail Donleycott of New Bern, and Rhett Kirschner of New Bern; and two brothers Gus Hawkins of Cove City, and Freddie Hawkins of Cove City.
He was preceded in death by his parents Fred and Ella Hawkins.
Receiving of friends will follow the service.
